Wednesday Feb 26, 2020
Wednesday Feb 26, 2020
No one is ever prepared for death, and when it's a tragedy that seems to come out of nowhere it's even harder to process. Following the death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and 7 others, we felt the need to talk about death, grief, and loss with Dr. Lydiana Garcia. She talks us through what these moments trigger in us and how we can process that pain and fear that emerges after these types of tragedies.

Ep. 58 - You've Got to Show Yourself Grace (w/ Zoila Darton)
Wednesday Jan 29, 2020
Wednesday Jan 29, 2020
There's no denying it – Zoila Darton is a force of nature. She is the founder of WORD, a creative agency based in L.A., which creates iconic events while fostering community. But while many may know Zoila the entrepreneur, this episode dives into the multi-faceted woman she truly is. In this conversation, Zoila gets candid about the reality of creative and professional burnout, the blessings and frustrations of motherhood, and how she's building a practice of "joyful discipline." (And honestly, so much more!) It's a convo that is inspiring, heartfelt and so damn honest. Life is amazing, but it's also messy and complicated, but you know what y'all - we're all in it together.

Ep. 56 - When Do We Stop Trying to Change Ourselves?
Thursday Oct 31, 2019
Thursday Oct 31, 2019
Hola loves! Get ready because this episode is probably the most vulnerable we’ve gotten in a while. It’s just the two of us talking about a major ‘wait, hold up’ moment :: dealing with unrealistic or unfair expectations being forced upon us. Yarel shares the battle of being constantly told she needs to change herself because of her profession. And Jess details her struggle of needing to be liked. It’s real and raw and we hope you all enjoy. Of course, if you connect with any part of this episode, definitely hit us up on IG or email.

Ep. 54 - Let's Talk About Sex (w/ Rebecca Alvarez Story)
Wednesday Sep 04, 2019
Wednesday Sep 04, 2019
A huge component of our overall physical and emotional well-being.
Both of us didn't grow up feeling comfortable talking openly about sex - and even as grown women, we still find ourselves dealing with shame on the topic. But in an effort to liberate ourselves and others, we're going for it and having our first and long overdue episode on SEX. In this episode we get to it with sexologist, Rebecca Alvarez Story. We talk about learning our body’s, breaking taboos, and embracing sex toys! To destigmatize the idea of sex and sex products, it's about time us ladies talked about it - openly! By normalizing conversations around sex and wellness we hope other women, especially women of color can feel empowered to embrace their sexuality and make informed decisions for their bodies.
